I cant hear out of my right ear?!

Question: I cant hear out of my right ear?
Well about a few days ago i got an ordinary cold (Cough, sore throat, stuffy nose...) Anyway since yesterday i haven't been able to hear out of my right ear and instead there's a slight buzzing noise...
I thought maybe if i try popping it so i tried chewing and yawning and that didn't work so i tried holding my nose and breath and that popped it but made me insanely dizzy, hot and i was shaking and wobbling whilst walking to the window to open it. after a few secs i went back to normal but i couldn't hear from my ear again!?? Is there anything i can do?? :L

That's because the lining of your nose is congested.
The middle ear is connected to the back of the nose by a short narrow tube, the Eustachian tube. This tube normally opens when we yawn or swallow to allow secretions to drain from the middle ear. It also keeps air pressure equal both sides of the eardrum.
Think how taking off and landing in a plane can affect ears.

A cold or allergy can block the Eustachian tube due to congestion in the nasal lining. This prevents the normal flow of fluid from the middle ear. The fluid begins to build up often causing dulled hearing, tinnitus (noises in the ear), sometimes pain.

Try an antihistamine, take your pharmacist's advice as some make people drowsy.

This might seem weird but my mom dipped a cotton ball into some warm milk and put it in my ear. It was a miracle, I could hear again!! Lol
