How can I get my confidence back?!

Question: How can I get my confidence back?
I have recently been on a diet and lost some weight and I felt amazing! I bought a really nice dress and everyone said I looked lovely, including the guy I really like! I ended up spending the evening with the guy I like and my friends and had an amazing time, I was so happy! Anyway, today at school my friend asked if I wanted to go out with her and another friend for dinner tonight (talk about short notice!), and as I have no money and want to stay focused until I loose a little more weight I said I can't as I have no money. My friend then said "Why are you being such a fat b*tch?" and "Are you not coming cos your fat?" I was crushed! She's really thin anyway so I couldn't say anything back :/ But I am seeing the guy again on Saturday and I feel so terrible and I now I feel crap :(

well, YOU NEED NEW FRIENDS.
people who will treat you kindly and nicely . that is afterall what a friend is for.
why would you still want to hang around with people who make you feel bad or ashamed of yourself, people who put you down.
i really dont see what it is in this world that makes people feel as if it is ok to hurt another living thing, emotionally or otherwise.

get new friends, you may one day thank me for bettering your life ;) x

ooh and good on you for losing some weight :) but do not keep dieting to the point where your stick thin because of what this 'friend' said.

Do your own thing, stay home tonight and have a nice "girly" night all to yourself, pamper yourself. She doesn't sound like much of a friend - maybe she is a bit jealous of you now you have "found" yourself and feel so much better about yourself.
Meet your guy on Saturday and make sure you feel as good as you did the last time you saw him - maybe it will last, maybe it won't, but you will have had a good time whatever happens.
Well done for losing the weight, keep it up.

Don't let her get to you!
You did a good job by losing weight!
This girl is no friend!
I would never talk that way to a friend!
Screw her!
She is probably jealous that you are losing weight, cause it will take the attention off of her!

Work out you bmi on http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/ and if you aren't classed as fat then there is no need to worry as they are just messing around, the only person that you can really trust is the boy that likes you. Ask him if you are that concerned.

Make a move on your guy and if he responds positively...You are awsome!
