Sun exposure and prednisone?!

Question: Sun exposure and prednisone?

I am in the Caribbean now and I have had to take 10mg prednisone orally for arthritis. Is it very dangerous to go out in the sun unprotected compared to not being on the drug? i.e. will I burn and darken quicker?

Taken it before for acne when i was younger than took it again @ 25.I hope it helps but going outside you will get one hell of a sunburn every time :((
