Question: How does walking for a cause really work?
Like the walk for March of Dimes or Diabetes. I mean I know the reason why to walk. I just want to know how do they work. The donation and walking the miles and that stuff. And walking if nobody donates.

Walkers need to get sponsors. They sign up for so much money per mile walked. So If I sponsered you at $1 a mile walked, depending on how many miles you walk, that is hwo much I owe you.
The Charities are given this money for operating expenses, research, out reach programs.
