Can you make up for lost sleep?!


Question: Can you make up for lost sleep?
I know your supposed to have 8 hours of sleep a night but on week days I get anywhere from 6-7 hours. Would it be possible to make up for lost sleep on weekends?

Yep, partially at minimum. That's actually the reason many people oversleep during weekends-they are making up for the lack of sleep (or at least that's the excuse I like to use - lol).

Anyway, a regular sleeping pattern is the healthiest.



No it is impossible to make up for lost sleep.. Just learned about it in Biology.

You will just be getting more sleep on weekends but that won't help for the lost sleep during the week.
