Does hanging from a bar REALLY increase your height?!

Question: Does hanging from a bar REALLY increase your height?
Hi there, I just want to know if hanging from a bar really increases your height when you're not an adult and you're at a younger age, like 12-15 years old. I don't believe that and I think it's kind of crap. I may be wrong though, but does anyone know if it actually increases your height?

Your height is genetically determined, although you might not reach your full potential if you have poor nutrition. You are quite correct, you can't stretch yourself taller.

No is simply does not, generally your height is determined by your parents genetics, IF you want to grow and be healthy, you should decrease Junk Food consumption, eat more vegetables and fruit, drink LOTS of water and LOTS of whole grains, at least 3 cups worth of milk for Calcium and Vitamin D, two key ingredients for bone growth, or eggs, anything with a high calcium level. Also avoid too much meat, lean meat is better.

Eat food that is All natural, with no Artificial Flavors or preservatives. And less trans fat, or any at all. AND DO NOT EAT ANYTHING that used artificial growth hormones.

And exercise a bit, play sports of anything that gets you moving, for a least an hour a day.

I AM NOT a certified doctor, I simply know this from extensive knowledge :)

i think it would do that and strengthen you because the gravity is pulling you down so it will start stretching you. that is what i think

No...if you're going to grow...you'll grow. Hanging from a bar won't change that one bit.

No it just stretches your muscles out and makes you more flexible that's all
