I am in a group at school who has to write a paper about Assisted Suicide. Our paper is based on Why we shouldn't do it and it can't have any reference to God or Religion or anything.

What is a good reason to not have assisted suicide?

You may consider starting your research in the legal realm. The legal and ethical debate pertains to whether or not assisted suicide constitutes murder, in that you were in a direct (or even indirect way) responsible for the death of the other person.
The clearest place to begin would be the Wikipedia page for Jack Kevorkian. In recent years, his is one of the most recognized (infamous) names in this debate.

The person may not have been terminal but just wanted to end their life, it is an easy way out of life.

Because it can make the person who stays alive feel guilty???
