1. Use a gentle gel cleanser. A creamy face wash may leave a residue on your skin, prompting a greasy feel and oily look.

2. Wash twice a day -- no more. Too much washing can dry out your skin, causing it to produce even more oil.

3. Tone carefully. Look for a toner without alcohol, which can cause skin to become dry. Instead, choose a toner with witch hazel or other soothing ingredients, and use after every wash.

4. Don't skip sunscreen. Many women with oily skin forego face lotion. But everyone, no matter what her skin type, needs sunscreen. Use a gel SPF formula.

5. Avoid moisturizing makeup. Foundation for older skin is usually formulated to be moisturizing, which means it contains oils and humectants that your skin doesn't need. Instead, choose an oil-free foundation.

6. Use powder. A translucent powder applied after your foundation will help the base stay smudge-proof all day, and will help curb mid-day greasiness.

7. Blot away shine. Use a blotting paper, made especially to absorb oil without ruining makeup, during the day when you need to squelch shine. Don't cake on lots of powder, which can settle into fine lines and look heavy.

8. Try a mask. A clay-based mask, used once or twice a week, cleanses pores (which often become blocked on women with oily skin).

9. Go for powdered makeup. Eye shadow and blush in powder form will stay put on your oily skin longer than cream- or pencil-based products.

10. Rule out any skin conditions. If you notice your skin becoming more oily, flaky, or breaking out more often, see your dermatologist. He or she may diagnose you with a mild skin condition such as rosacea or seborrhea, which are easily treatable with prescription topical medications.

The biggest thing is usually your diet. You should see a naturopath and discuss your diet as-well-as possible allergies. Cutting out pop (soda) and junk food usually might clear it up.

1. Pop them ._.
2. Record you popping them
3. post on youtube
4. ???
5. Profit!

Hi. At your age, acne occurs in part due to hormonal changes, but also due to the tendency of teens to eat junk food. Don't. Just stop. Anything processed, do away with it. Eat as much fresh food and homemade food as you can.

When it comes to cleaning your face, do so twice a day--once thoroughly, once with only warm water followed by cold.

In the shower, stick your face under the warm water for a half minute or so. This helps to open the pores up. You need to open the pores so that you can scrub the dirt out.

Next, use a CLEAN wash cloth. Wet it under very warm--NOT hot--water. Water that's hot can ruin your skin and it doesn't help any more than warm, so avoid hot water. So you wet your wash cloth under very warm water, then hold it on your face a few seconds. Repeat this several times, then scrub out the wash cloth and hang it to dry.

Now, use a very gentle facial wash. I like Neutrogena, both the pump bottle and the original, good ol'-fashion clear bar. (Here in Sweden, all we have are the bars, but the pump bottle is more convenient.) Wash your face VERY gently. You want to rub your clean fingers over your skin in a gentle but thorough manner. Take several seconds on each part of your face, moving your fingers in small circles. This helps release the dirt.

Rinse your face really well, again moving your fingers gently over your skin to help remove the soap.

At the end of your shower, rinse your face with cool water to close the pores.

Done!

Do this every day and soon enough you'll see your skin clearing up.
