Simply go to your family dermatologist/doctor. That yellow thing you just described sounds like staph infection, but it would be helpful if you put more emphasis on the activity of this "yellow" spot. This spot may contain pus with amounts of blood seeping through. If you continue to mess with it, it will continuously get bigger and if you don't wash your hands efficiently it may spread due to the fact that it is highly contagious. So, go to the doctor and they will prescribe you some antibiotics.
Edit: If you follow Cannibal Merks instructions your really asking for it. Since when does putting makeup over a "zit" like thing make things better. Toothpaste works on some people not all. If you have dry skin it just makes it patchy/flaky like.
Obviously simple doesn't work, so stop using it. Regular rubbing alcohol does work really well at cleaning your face. I used it for years and it always helped. The thing is, with pictures tomorrow, it doesn't sound like it's going to be gone. If you're desperate, borrow some of your mom's makeup and cover it up. A friend of mine used to do that and it worked out great! Some people say that toothpaste works, I haven't seen it. But definitely stop using simple. It's not working. I would After pictures, I would pop what you can and then rub your face (gently) with some toilet paper wetted with alcohol to help clean it and close the pours. You could also try putting hydrogen peroxide on your face after you pop the zits and whatnot and before you use the running alcohol. That will help kill any infection in the pours before you close them with the alcohol.
EDIT:
The makeup is not a permanent fix. He has pictures TOMORROW!! and wants it gone. Sorry, but the fact is, it's not going to happen. So what do you do? You cover it up for pictures until you can get it looked at properly by a doctor or do whatever it is you're going to do. so in the light of taking pictures BEFORE he can get real help to get it fixed, cover it up with makeup so that the picture looks good...
