Why do people always think others with allergies are weird?!


Question: Why do people always think others with allergies are weird?
Why do people always look at people with a lot of allergies as weird? It's not like we asked for it or anything. I'm allergic to dairy and peanuts, and I'm also a vegetarian. My mother is allergic to gluten and dairy. Allergies are not something a person can choose and have much control over. So why do some people think we're weird?

This is really bad, whoever does that,they don't think that those allergies can happen to them also. When this happens to them, they can get to know their faults.

I am allergic to dairy as well, I didnt notice until lately, if this constitutions as a allergy or not. People might think its weird because they think that its abnormal to have an allergic reaction to something that they dont have an allergic reaction to, nor did they grow up around anyone with the same problem.
Its quiet normal for me, i have encountered many people with these problems.
Some people are just naive and oblivious.

They just don't understand it. I doubt anybody is trying to hurt your feelings! Because with dairy that includes lists of things and it is hard to believe everything that actually has dairy products in it. So they just don't understand!
