Oxycodone. - is used to relieve moderate to severe pain. Oxycodone is in a class of medications called opiate (narcotic) analgesics. It works by changing the way the brain and nervous system respond to pain. I have a co-worker who is addicted to them. He has serious withdraws when he doesnt have any. His face becomes pale white, and looks very ill. Ive never seen anything like it. He has been taking them for 20 years because he broke his ankle and back. Soon he will have to remove his leg. Its sad. 1/4 of this pill will have the same effect of 5 hydrocodone. That or methadone. (heroin) They use it to help people cope in Rehab from Heroin.
