Can having a seizure cause long term memory loss?!

Question: Can having a seizure cause long term memory loss?
About 6 or 7 years ago I had 2 seizures, only a day apart, the second one being a grand mal seizure. I had never had one before, and haven't had one since. I was tested and I don't have epilepsy. They were caused from stress and dehydration. Since having my seizures I've noticed that my memory hasn't been as good. I know that you can have memory loss right around the time that you have a seizure, but I'm wondering if it can have a long term effect on your memory. Please help me out!

31yrs experience seizures

Anything that effects the brain can mess up memory, speech, motor skills, ect. that could be the reason... but you might be stressed out about this a little too much and that could also be the reason...

One or two seizures will not cause memory loss. We all, at times, have lapses in memory.
No one remembers everything.
