Stomach is always bloated and heartburn problems?!

Question: Stomach is always bloated and heartburn problems?
To the point where if I lay on my stomach, on the bed, it makes me nauseous. I often have heartburn problems, too.
I do eat lots of sugar and grease. Could these cause this?
Are there things in my diet I can change?

Answers:

Well, large quantities of sugar and great could easily cause heartburn and nausea. There are many other things that could be causing these symptoms: gall bladder, ulcer, GERD, etc.

Does it happen all the time, or just after you eat? How long after you eat?

If it is occasional, try experimenting to see what food or foods cause this discomfort. If you find out which ones, eliminate or limit the amount you eat.

I would personally recommend reducing the sugar and grease just as a matter of good nutrition. Limit the size of your meals, and chew small bites slowly. There are over-the-counter medications like Prevacid and Prilosec you could take to try to reduce the heartburn. If your symptoms continue, you should visit your doctor.

I never heard of sugar causing heartburn. Usually Spaghetti sauce and spicy foods are to blame.
at some point you may need to see a doctor so he can put you on a pill in order to prevent heartburn from happening. usually you'll only have to take one pill a day in the morning so you don't get heartburn in the evening.
I've been on such a medication for years for that heartburn that you speak of. the pills work wonders.
your body produces acids so the food can be digested. the pill slows down that production.
In the mean time try this, one teaspoon of baking soda (also know as bicarbonate of soda) in a glass of water then drink it down. within minutes you'll belch out the gases and the baking soda will neutralize the acids. remember baking soda is actually a food. most people have baking soda in the cabinet for baking cookies.
good luck to ya.

Excessive processed sugar and grease may cause heartburn. Also, excessive consumption of acidic and citrus fruits, cigarette smoking, alcohol consumption, some medical conditions and use of some OTC medicines can cause heartburn as well. Diet change will definitely help. My recommendation is to eat more yogurt and kefir (has probiotics), and use apple cider vinegar whenever you have heartburn. Eat more natural plant-based food and learning about how to mix food properly will help as well.

Could be GERD. But too much high calorie greasy food will do it. Imagine what it's doing to your heart. Time to switch to salads.

of course sugar and grease can do that,,, you may now have ulcers,, see a doctor,,,ulcers can kill you,, been there
