Question: Should I be concerned about painful sneezing?
I am a healthy young man (24). When I sneeze, I occasionally feel as if someone has beaten me with a baseball bat. Honestly it makes me wince inside and I want to cry. This type of sneezing can go on for about five minutes, with each successive sneeze becoming more painful. Is this a common occurrence or something I should consult a physician about?

A sneeze should not cause pain. If it does, it usually means that there is some other underlying problem. I would mention it to the doctor the next time you are there.
lt shouldn't hurt. You might have an ulcer in your sinuses or something! Go to the doctors so they can have a quick look to see why it's hurting.
