Question: How painful is it when doctors remove ear wax?
2day i went to the doctor cause i couldnt hear outta 1 ear and it felt stuffed. They said i pushed wax in2 my ear canal after using Q-tips. she said its probably ben in there 4 a while cuz its hard wax and that its pressing on2 my ear drum or sumthing. she removed sum of it but hurt really bad and it was with this long stick thing. i think its called a curette. im not sure. it hurt and she said i should *** bak friday and she might have 2 send me 2 a specialist. how much will it hurt cuz i had a preview 2day and the real things cuming up.

Irrigate your ear with warm soapy water-you can also bet OTC drops which will soften the wax, then let warm water run in your ear in the shower

Have you ever heard of ear candling?! Its painless and its at your health food store for 15$. Its this wax-like tube that you light the top of and takes the ear wax out!
unless the doctor jabs your ear with the very dull curette tool or whatever it is, it will not hurt at all.
