Really bad diarrhea, help?!

Question: Really bad diarrhea, help?
Alright so....

The Thursday night I started feeling really chilly and feverish, like I was getting a cold. I woke up the next morning and drank pineapple juice (stupid choice, because I have really bad acid reflux). Right after that I started having diarrhea right after eating. It turns out that I have bronchitis and I am taking sudafed, as the NP told me to at the clinic. Now it is Wednesday and I still have diarrhea. Monday night, I took Imodium AD the and caused minor cramping. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow and am going to discuss this. But other than diarrhea I have no other symptoms that relate.

Other things to know:
I work with kids at a daycare and there is a stomach bug going around.
I am TERRIFIED of throwing up.

Any advice is GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

It must be bad if even Imodium can't help! Poor you - do you often get sick working in a daycare?

You have bronchitis and were not given antibiotics? That surprises me. Okay, you are taking Sudafed, Imodium, and the only thing I can think of that is pretty much guaranteed to stop vomiting is called Gravol in Canada. The generic name is dimenhydrinate - can you get some of that? You are going to be very, very sleepy, but hopefully you are staying home, right?

I wish you all the best.

Eating it usually works for me.

You need fluids and if you cant hold down water for more that 24 hours you should think about being seen by a M.D to get an I.V

My cousin had the same problem.. her mom told her to eat a banana like twice a day. it worked for her..
