The term "hair follicle test" is rather misleading. They don't actually test the hair follicle. They take a sample of hair about an inch and a half closest to the scalp. Blood flows to the hair follicle and nourishes the hair as it grows, and drug metabolites are incorporated into the hair shaft. Hair grows an average of one half inch per month, so taking the most recent inch and a half of hair growth represents about three months.

If your pills actually contained MDMA, yes it will definitely show up. Drug metabolites are incorporated into the hair shaft itself, so there's no way to wash them out. Shampoos that claim to do so are a scam. If you took two ecstasy tablets and nothing happened, it is possible that they did not actually contain MDMA. That's really your only hope.

Most likely. If they were to do a urine one, it wouldn't. But that's why they do the hair folicle ones - so they can tell further back.
If you're in a position where you are going to be taking drug tests, you shouldn't be doing stuff like MDMA anyways, especily since now you will probably test positive for methamphetamine.

i would say yes because the hair grows under the skin it usually keeps a record if you like i know that it takes 3 months at least for mdma to go out of your system but in hair it does remain i have long hair to my sholders an know first hand that there is still traces of drugs i took a year ago in them.
