Question: I need to urinate but nothings there...?
Recently with in the last hour i felt the normal need to urinate, i went and as soon as i was done i felt the pressure like if i was holding it for a long time and i needed to go, but it seemed there was no urine left. After that i keep feeling the urge and pressure to urinate and when i try to either nothing happens ore a very very small amount comes out. I feel no pain. Should i go to my doctor?

Yes, go to the doctor. TOMORROW. There is no need to rush off to ER tonight.

Have a glass or two of water to keep yourself hydrated. Shower and put on clean undies. Go to bed and sleep.

By tomorrow morning you may notice odor from your urine, and a burning sensation when you urinate. If you ignore the problem, within a day or two you might start passing blood in your urine. Then it gets serious.

When you call the doctor's office in the morning tell the nurse you think you have a urinary tract infection (UTI) and need to get in right away. Do NOT void your bladder immediately before you go to the doctor b/c the first thing you will have to do is pee in a cup for the lab to run the tests. Even before you get into the exam room.

The doctor will probably give you a prescription. Pyridium is the one I always got. If you get that, or a generic of it, it will turn your urine a pretty orange. Don't panic. Ask the doctor if the prescription he gives you will do that just so you don't have a surprise.

Take all the pills as prescribed and drink your eight glasses of water every day even after you are done with the pills.

Be well

Multiple UTIs in my life!

It can be a uti infection or a bladder infection. Ya actually I would probably go to the er. It would be good to get those tests done now and also a scan of your abdomen.
