Problems with taking other people's prescription drugs?!

Question: Problems with taking other people's prescription drugs?
Ok, I was diagnosed by a doctor with Panic Disorder and GAD. They have yet to prescribe me anything.

Obviously going with the typical manly, testosterone laden way of doing things, I've been drinking ALOT and I mean ALOT, Vodka, Whiskey, Jager.. You name it.(shoot, according to this online breathalyzer my BAC is 2.5 right now...)

Anyways, my friend has a prescription for Clonazepam, a drug commonly used for Panic Disorder. She said she built up a tolerance to them and it doesn't help her anymore, so she gave me a small handful and I've been using them as needed.

I'm going to the doctor tomorrow, and they're going to draw blood for a blood test, so what I need to know is..

A. Is it illegal?
B. Will it come up on the blood test?
C. If yes to the above two, can I get in trouble for it or will they be more reluctant to medicate me?

Answers:

Depending on where you live, yes it is illegal to transfer prescription drugs to anyone other than the person to whom they were prescribed.

Maybe, maybe not. If they do a drug screen, yes they will show up.

Trouble, as in legal trouble? Probably not. Reluctant to medicate you? Possibly, if they feel you are showing a pattern of drug/alcohol abuse, at least until you get those issues under control.

you can die
