does this indicate low platelets?!

Question: Does this indicate low platelets?
i have tiny pin head red dots on my arms (not like a rash though) that look like under skin bleeding, because when i press them the get pale/ disappear for a second and then come back, but also i have what looks like small scratches on my hands and fingers, they appear without me noticing and stay bright red for a few days before turning brown and healing, but they don't bleed. i think i have anemia, like i used to have it and i feel like it is back, can anemia cause this?or do you think this is caused by low platelets? should i be worried about this? i am 14 and female.
thank you for reading this, i feel a bit stupid asking this here, but i don't want to worry my mom by asking to go to the doctor, and as i am only 14 i can't go alone.
thank you XX

Answers:

You need to see your doctor and get appropriate lab testing performed.

There is absolutely no way that anyone here can tell you whether or not your symptoms are serious. That can only come from a licensed physician with benefit of hands on examination as well as appropriate testing, if warranted.

If it's any comfort, spots that blanch under pressure are GENERALLY (not always) less serious than spots that do not blanch under pressure. However (and this is the big qualifier), any rash or spots that appear suddenly and do not go away warrant investigation.

You should tell your parent. Regardless how you may feel they should be aware. You are 14 and at that age you are in better ways to control an illness. Please do not ignore it, the problem just does not go away by itself. With to days medication you are so lucky.

Daughter similar problem kept ignoring but now under control.
