Can a sinus infection cause blurred vision?!

Question: Can a sinus infection cause blurred vision?
Now I want to know! I took pills for a sinus infection but I think they did not help at all because last night the sinus pressure was so bad and I felt like my ears were closing I started screaming to my mom I need to go to the hospital but she checked my BP it was high because I was also having a anxiety attack but she put me in the bathroom with hit water running, and put warm rags on my face and gave me a ibuprofen and sat there with me to calm me down, but now I am afraid to go to sleep because I have anxiety and what I experienced really scared me!!!!!! I have been up all night I feel things running down the back throat, ear pain, I am tired I feel like throwing up, my BP is normal I am worrying I had a stroke and I don't want to die:(. I am going to the doctor today because my mom saw that I was having a lot of pressure in my sinus I mean it was horrible I though I was going to explode.

I am 14 female!

P.S There is 3 very toxic molds in my bathroom making me sick (I have got repeat sinus, ear and upper respiratory infection in the past 6 or 7 months) so we are moving next week!

Answers:

A sinus infection can cause you a lot of pain, blurred vision, running, blocked nose in the sinus section.

Is your mum a nurse? Taking your BP. Or does she have one at home to take her own BP?
If your mum's not a nurse she wouldn't understand what the BP reading is indication.
How high was it?
Pain can cause your BP to raise a great deal.

Having a warm shower and breathing in through your nose can help loosen some sinus pressure and then you can blow your nose to relieve the pressure.

You need to see your Doctor for some antibiotics.
He/she will also get you to cleanse your sinus' and nose out with saline water.

These molds you are talking about, we don't get in Australia but I have heard they cause many illnesses.
This sinus infection was probably caused by the moulds, especially since you have been sick for 6 or 7 months.

You should have seen a Doctor much earlier.

When I had an infection in my sinuses, the entire right side of my face swelled up. My eyes closed up nearly entirely because my cheek was mushing up towards my eye, which might also be causing your blurry vision.

I suggest you put a film you like on and simply sit down and watch it. have nothing else to distract you, simply relax and enjoy yourself, which should help with the stress.
