No adverse effects other than they may not work properly, if at all. Expiration dates refer to the time after which a drug's effectiveness cannot be guaranteed.
It would either work just fine ( if not too much past time exp date) or if quite a long time after the exp date, it just may not be as potent as it was. Either way, it shouldn't hurt you. But it's not good to take the meds if you are not going to have enough to finish them anyway. You should go see a doc. You may not even need antibotics and taking them if you don't need them isn't good. (Over use of them leads to them not working later in life).
Well they could just not work or they could just work like normal but the bad thing that could happen is that you have a bad reaction to it :/ so be careful
