BURNING sinuses! Why?!

Question: BURNING sinuses! Why?
For the last 5 days I've had a KILLER cold/flu. And for the last two days my sinuses have been BURNING. The back of my nose and the roof of my mouth. It's driving me nuts. I thought it was because of my cough medication (Histinex), but I stopped taking it and it still hurts.

How can I make it stop burning?

Dryness and pressure can cause that sensation of burning.

You can use nasal sprays such as Sinus Rinse or HydraSense, and use a nasal jelly such as Rhinaris or Secaris. You can also take an expectorant (either tablets or syrup).

If this doesn't help, you should see a doctor.

You may have a secondary bacterial infection such as sinusitis. I would go to the doctor and get examined. If it is bacterial, you may need antibiotics to fully get over the infection.

You might have a sinus infection go get checked out the only way to get it taken care of is through an anti-biotic.

I Just got over one myself.
