talk to your dr. there are other options if the medication was making you feel worse. did you give your body enough time to put this medication to full use? as for your family i think it is very sad that they are disrupting your mental health worse by showing that they are more concerned for how you are affecting their lives. try to stay positive that someone can help you also talk to your dr about your families reaction to everything going on. its hard to deal with people when they are dealing with these issues but they should also be willing to try to get you all the help you need instead of thinking about getting you out and making your situation worse so they no longer have to "deal" with you. if your a minor it is your parents legal obligation to help you to the fullest without misplacing you somewhere else. however if you are a threat to the family it is also the parents obligation to protect other members of the family. in some cases it is better to have in patient treatment to relieve both parties of the continued stress of the situation.

Do not stop taking anything without talking to your doctor. There can be withdrawal effects from stopping SSRIs suddenly, which is probably why you feel so bad. Call your doctor.
