I survived a double ruptured aneurysm and medicaid has denied me and i have another life saving procedure to go through,I need help I am getting really depressed behind this issue. Why are illegal immigrants issued medicaid and I am not I have paid into the system for more than twenty years. This is depressing me as if I don't have enough to worry about, I don't think my country loves me as much as I love it.Anyone with advice on how to get medicaid to approve me please let me know asap.

The only reason I can think of as to why you were denied without you actually stating the reason is that you or your responsible party (husband, father, etc.) make too much money or your resources/assets exceed the minimum for qualification in your state. If you feel you are eligible for Medicaid and you were denied, you need to appeal the decision. Again, exactly how to do this depends on your state of residence. You need to contact the department of human services for the state in which you reside.

you have to file through social security and apply for disability i dont understand it either i have been denied twice
and i was told 134.00 amonth income for a family to even apply for medicaid and as for illigal immigrants getting medicaid that isnt all they get the get houses cars good credit food stamps and medicaid i know 15 that do i worked with half so no its not right we do without while others get it that do not need it

what is the reasoning behind their denial? that information would help with the answers received
