Question: What could be wrong with my aunt?
My aunt has been severely fatigued for the last couple months. She will go to bed and take a four hour nap and then get up and still be tired. She started with swelling in her toes and it has now spread up her body to her chest (all her limbs are swollen). The swelling is severe to the point where it is noticeable. She has a pair of sandals that didn't fit her last spring and now she cannot fit her feet into them. Does anyone have any ideas of what could be wrong. She has been to doctor after doctor and no one can help her, everyone keeps telling her nothing is wrong, but that is not normal.

Perhaps she is retaining a lot of fluid. Does she eat a lot of salt? Take medication
for anything? Have any thyroid problem? If she still doesn't feel well try another
Dr. I'm sure they must have ran various test on her.
I would suggest that you take her to another doctor.
Has she been tested for diabetes?
You didn't mention her age.
