Why do I bleed a lot?!

Question: Why do I bleed a lot?
I've noticed that I tend to bleed a lot from small cuts. For example, my friend accidentally nicked my cuticle with his thumb nail and it didn't start bleeding at first, but 2 minutes later I had a steady stream of blood running down the extent of my hand and dripping on the floor. You would've thought I cut my hand or something. Took a couple of napkins to clean it up! Stopped after a band-aid though :) What does this mean? Am i anemic or something? I'm in sports and eat a lot of sushi and healthy foods. (yes I eat meat)

You may be slightly anemic. You need to eat your dark greens and/or liver.

It actually means that you're normal. It's very obvious that if you cut yourself, blood will come out in your wound.

Reading this question made me throw up in my mouth. Thanks a lot.
