Why am I the only person getting bit by bed bugs?!

Jordan...is 100% incorrect..kinda see who the nitwit is now.But,funny you asked this question.I live right in bed bug city...NYC actually.And,this year we were hit hard with a bed bug outbreak,and it made nationwide news.My husband and I lived in an apartment that had bed bugs,and I got bit something fierce while he not once got bitten.My legs looked like a pizza exploded on them,and my husband legs were all nice and perfect.I asked my superintendent about this,as he was also an exterminator,and he told me that my scent,and even my blood was sweeter than my husbands.So,I agree with one of the other answers here.I rarely wear lotions or perfumes to bed...so I still couldn't figure out why my scent/blood was any sweeter than my husbands,but...it's ok.And,we moved out due to the fact..that those beg bugs were taking over almost every apartment building in NYC,but now we are in a building with no bed bugs....for now! You can "google' the little vermin(bed bugs) and maybe some information your looking for might come up.Don't know..I never went that far into searching for answers after speaking with our old landlord/superintendent.I hope you find the information/answers your looking for.Sorry I couldn't offer much more than I did...Take care.

Your blood taste sweet..i watched an episode on nat geo that most people bitten by bed bugs are those who have sweetest blood, bugs has its own sensory mechanism that targets only special people. and I'm afraid you are one of them..

your skin might be more appealing to them, or maybe its not bed bugs. It could def be allergies to something in the house, if you haven't gotten checked for allergies you probably should

Maybe they are not bugs... maybe you are just allergic to some thing that is in the bed, maybe the wool.
