then I fell asleep and now I feel hot and really sick with the worse headache. Is this normal?

If you have ringing in your ears. then it is time to go to the ER. If not stop taking them for 8 hours and let them work out of your system.
Well...if you weren't trying to overdose..then what do you call it? 6-8 300mg aspirin at 1 time? Why? And,you aren't even sure if you took 6 or if you took 8....huh? Now..your asking if your symptoms are normal? Common sense....You might want to consider counseling/therapy.There IS a reason as to WHY you would take 6 to 8 300mg's of aspirin at 1 time.No one just takes that many aspirin just for a headache..or for ANY other reason.If you have such a severe headache? And,2 aspirin doesn't work? Then that's when your common sense tells you or anyone to see a doctor,and get the right amount of medication to treat that headache.NOT take 6-8 300mg's of ASPIRIN....Yeah....overdose.Ask your own doctor,and I am 100% POSITIVE he/she will agree!
6-8 pills? That's a lot! It's not enough to kill you, but paracetamol can cause liver damage, and in any case, there are better drugs for headaches than codeine (which is both addictive AND constipating), like Cafergot or Propranolol. Aspirin isn't the same at all... (an overdose of that causes different symptoms like ringing in the ears and stomachache.)
