Y'know how most fridges now have that ice button?Just now ( After I ate the ice with rust ) I looked into the little ice bucket thingy inside the freezer, and noticed some rust in it.
I like to crunch my ice around my mouth instead of water. I just did that, and noticed maybe like 3 black spots in the ice, and thought it might be from the cookies and cream icecream I have right below the ice-bucket-thing. But I looked at the bottom of my cup, and it was RUST!!
Now I feel like i've just poisoned myself. WHAT WILL HAPPEN?! Am I gonna throw up or something?
I feel as if it's one of those things when you accidently swallow like maybe some detergent, and then you panic and call poison control, but I might sound incredibly stupid if I call poison control, tell them I ate a tiny bit of rust, and they'd be like 'Um, ma'm, nothings going to happen."

okay i would recommend telling someone about it but if it was a small amount you will probably be fine. rust is iron you just got your iron for the day lol. be careful the next time you decide to eat ice and go tell your parents, kid they might be able to decide if you are in danger or not
You are fine: I put some old Kentucky Fried Chicken in the oven today in an old rusty pan and I could taste the rust: Rust is full of calcium and magnesium: Nothing will happen to you. In life you are going to eat your share of dirt.

Dude I let my dog eat off my fork and eat candy I find stuffed into the crevices of my furniture; unless you have a compromised immune system you could probably eat rust by the dam/n spoonful and not drop dead.

No harm should come from ingesting a small amount of rust. Your stomach acid is strong enough to any bacteria such as tetanus, and the rust is small enough and brittle enough not to cause cuts inside your digestive system. Relax, you'll be fine.

Most of the water you drink contains minute amounts of rust in it. You should be just fine.. Relax
