Question: Any Way to Be Taller?
I'm 16 and I'm only 5'1. My family is short so I don't expect to get that tall, but I would like to be at least 5'3. I honestly don't believe I've been through a growth spurt yet. There was never a time when I just grew, I have been the same height since like 7th grade. It's really intimidating though, Like I see all these beautiful, tall girls and it just makes me feel kind of bad. I don't ever really wear skirts or dresses because I don't feel that they look right on me. I can never find pants that fit me, they're always to long. Like I can't imagine going to college, being surrounded by all those people, and being this short. I was wondering if there are any exercises that can help stretch your bones or any specific foods that can help. I am however, about 5 pounds overweight, I don't if weight has anything to do with it though.

honey you are delusional.
just wear heels if you're so insecure about your height.
if you don't enjoy wearing pumps or w/e the hell barbie wanna be's wear these days just wear a pair of boots with heels, something simple or something that's a bit uglier like half the shoes on the page.

Drink whole milk every day AND add carnation instant breakfast drink. It will not change your genetic makeup but will help you max out. Doctors will tell you to do this.
Also, some kids simply have delayed growth. You may be a late bloomer?
My son has always been on the shorter side and once we did the milk drinks for a whole year, he really shot up.



My wife is petite. I prefer that. She wears skirts with heels some days and it looks better than those big horse women.



Sleep required varies by age. Some teenagers may require up to 10 hours of sleep. The calcium in milk is very important, but keeping your body in the best of shape with exercise and eating from all of the five food groups is also very important.
