Chronic headaches for the last 8 weeks now for my 6 yrs old?!

Question: Chronic headaches for the last 8 weeks now for my 6 yrs old?
My 6 year old daughter has been suffering from chronic headaches for the last 8 weeks now. The headache are is between her eyebrows(above her nose). We have her eyes and dental checked and everything is normal. The 1st Pediatric suspecting allergy suggested Zyrtec. We gave it for a week but there was no improvement. We went back to the Pediatric and this time suspecting Sinus gave Amoxicillin Antibiotic for 10 days. Nasal Flush using Neil-Med also started along with Nasonex. Those did not help either. Next, we went to a different Pediatric and he ordered an MRI immediately. The MRI showed Sinus and everything else was normal. This Pediatric prescribed another antibiotic Omnicef that we continued for 2 course(20 days). This did not help at all. We had stopped the Nasal flush after the 1st 2 weeks, but have restarted it for the past week now. However, the headache of our daughter does not stop. She is able to sleep well and has woken up only twice in the last 2 months complaining about headache. That was during the 4th week, prior to doing the MRI.
What should be the next step. Please suggest as we are stuck and don't know what to do next. The Pediatric has no suggestions.

What is her blood pressure if you know? Does she see any floating dots in her vision? Does she get dizzy when she stands up? Does light affect her headaches? It does not sound like migraines because they are usually located on the side of the head; and tension headaches tend to wrap around the head but because 6 yr olds don't have the full range of descriptors to externalize their pain you could maybe ask her these types of questions. You should get your doc to send her to a specialist if he is out of answers; as a cluster migraine sufferer myself I feel no child should have to suffer through head pain.

It doesn't sound like a vascular problem I really think she gets extremely bad tension headaches and not migraines six is a bit young for that but not unheard of. Medications for a child her age are tricky but a specialist will know the best and safest ones.

I would take her to see a neurologist. They are better able to diagnose what regular doctors are not able to diagnose. It could be allergies to food or something in her surroundings.

Doctors, hospital work.

problems from diabetes? Avoid sugar. Get tested.
