What can I do to help someone with a drug problem?!

Question: What can I do to help someone with a drug problem?
Ok here is the story: my boyfriends father has had a drug(weed and such. nothing too serious) in the past but quit when he married my boyfriend's mom. Today I found out that last night his dad finally convinced him to smoke K2 with him, which he has been trying to do for a while now. My boyfriend that he had only been smoking this stuff for a week or two and was going to stop because his mom asked him to after she had an allergic reaction to it(so did my boyfriend). Come to find out his dad has been doing the K2 every chance he has gotten for months now. My boyfriend is starting to get really worried because he is seeing a big change in his dad but neither of us really knows what to do and we want to help him before things get out of control. What can we do?

K2 is synthetic marijuana.
he's better off smoking the REAL stuff.
they spray it with all of these chemicals and thats most likely why they had the allergic reaction.
marijuana doesnt do that.

theres nothing you can do.
hes a grown man, if he doesnt see anything wrong with what he is doing, chances are, he's not gonna change for you nor anyone. people dont change, especially when they have already lived a good deal of their life.

idont really know what changes his dad is going through since you never really said, but
talk with your boyfriend.
if he believes he can get his father to stop, then you may need to do a little intervention on him.

good luck

You should tell him to just smoke weed instead of K2 incence...All that legal bud **** is bad for you and the only reason people do it is because its legal...Just get him to smoke weed...if he still acts strange he's obviously on something else he's not telling you about because weed has no physically addictive properties

Cannabis Activist

If your boyfriends dad doesn't think there's a problem then there's not much you can do but talk to him and try to make him understand how you feel.
