If you want to try a psychedelic, mushrooms is a good place to start. Most people find mushrooms a little easier and friendlier than LSD. Just make sure you are in a place where you feel safe and are in a good frame of mind when you try this experiment. If you are dealing with troubling personal issues, psychedelics can intensify those feelings, and although it can be a good way to face your problems and think of ways to deal with them (psychedelics are good for self-exploration), it can make the experience a little difficult and not particularly fun.

As with anything you have never done before, do some research so you know what you are getting into and start with a low dose. You can always take more if you don't get the effects you want, but you can never take less.

Also keep in mind that psychedelic mushrooms (those containing psilocybin and psilocin) are against the law, and if you are caught in possession of such mushrooms, you will face legal action.

illegal things: LSD, psilocybin mushrooms, DMT, 5-MEO-DMT, mescaline, peyote, ketamine...

legal things: san pedro cactus, peruvian torch cactus, amanita muscaria, morning glory seeds, hawiian baby woodrose seeds, combination of syrian rue and mimosa hostilis, salvia, nutmeg...

thats all i can think of right now but there's tons more

dont do anything unless you research it first so you know how to do it without hurting yourselves. erowid.org is a good place

I know you probably don't care what I am about to say but you probably shouldn't try taking anything to hallucinate. There has been many cases of people that did the same thing you are thinking of and died.

Go ask the tough looking guy standing on the corner with the brown bag.
