dizzy and numb when stand up slowly, happens all the time (read details 10 pts)?!

Question: Dizzy and numb when stand up slowly, happens all the time (read details 10 pts)?
This is just an estimate but it started happening maybe about... 3-5 maybe 6 months ago.
I like sport, surfing, and all that stuff and I also like tv, computers and technology. So I do, do exercise and everything. It started out just being dizzy when I stood up from sitting down (sitting down for about 30+ mins). And only about 2-3 weeks ago sometimes I get numb, my hands, feet, face...
I can feel blood rushing somewhere else and I just have to lean against something or lie down on the floor for about 10 seconds for the feeling to go away.
I don't stand up fast so why would it be like that, even if I stand up really really slowly it still happens.
I always sit in the same chair, its just a normal couch that springs out and extends so you are kind of lying down on an angle.
Can anyone give me info why it is happening, how I can stop it, or ANYTHING about it at all?
Every answer is appreciated thanks :D

Every time we stand up, our body has to adjust blood pressure and blood flow. It's amazing how quickly and precisely this happens, all the time. A failure to do this gives exactly the symptoms you describe. You simply don't get enough blood to the brain, as the adjustment occurs too slowly. The tingling in hands, face, etc, is actually a sensation generated in your brain from lack of blood. Same as the dizziness, only it means the problem is getting worse. The fact that the problem is ongoing for ~5 months, and getting worse (even though you stand up slowly), is serious. You really have to go see a doctor for this. And I don't just say that automatically.

There are too many possible causes to try to figure out here. (Oh, it's not from your ears. That would be just dizziness, not the whole set of symptoms you give.)

Paramedic.

Your brain ran out of oxygen i guess

My friend told me, as i also had the same problem

ok first colm down this could be caused by small cristles in your ear it is not normal but it happens go to your doctor. tell him what you have written here ask if there is a ct scan that can be done to see if there is any other problems and ask to go to a neurolagist he will help you with this dizzy ness thing as for the numb ness that is signs of stroke and now you will get sceared but you need to get to the doctor and have your self checked out the sooner the better coust it what it will your health is more important then surffing and in good health you may surffe a nother day.. good luck..
