Can anyone suggest a better name for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome?!

Question: Can anyone suggest a better name for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome?
This name doesn't do the job - people think that just being fatigued means having CFS

I don't call it CFS. I call it by it's original name, which I've heard used more often in England, ME.
ME stands for myalgic encephalomyelitis. Myalgic means 'muscle aches or pains'. Encephalomyelitis means inflammation of the brain and spinal cord. I prefer using this name because, whenever I call it Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, people can't seem to get past the fatigue part, and presume that's the only symptom. ME is better because it gives you the opportunity to explain to people what the main symptoms are.
Doctors prefer to use Chronic Fatigue Syndrome because it's easier to understand... and because when people say "What does it stand for?" they can pronounce the answer lol

Very difficult this one, because it's a 'collection' syndrome(meaning you can get it many different ways).

And people love to qualify anything, and everything as a syndrome, or disorder these days of course.

On a personal level, I'd mention the illness/accident that got you CFS, and mention exhaustion as a symptom(people tend to understand better when it's very simply put).
