There was a case of memory impairment in a Simvastatin patient which improved and ceased to be a problem when he went off this statin and began use of another. You would have to try the same thing and see if there was a difference.

However, realize that missing an exit twice does not in and of itself prove memory loss, nor does it prove any causal relationship with the drug. You may have been distracted, or there can be other causes.
