Haven't eaten in 18 hours...should I eat?!

Question: Haven't eaten in 18 hours...should I eat?
I have a cold, it's pretty bad. I ate McDonald's around 3:30 pm yesterday and haven't been hungry since. It's 10 am now, so should I eat soon or wait until I'm hungry?

Answers:

As long as you won't throw up which is worse than not eating, yes you should eat. Your body needs the nutrients for fighting the aliment and for keeping your body working. The food doesn't have to be large, but try something healthy, something with protein (meats), maybe some orange juice or milk (vitamins and calcium), or maybe just some soup (good when your sick). A daily vitamin will help too if you do not take one already.
It is Important to eat enough nutrients while sick or you won't get better as fast and you will put even more strain on your body. Mcdonalds does not qualify as healthy btw. You need healthy food while sick (and when not but especially when ill).

well so you don't get overly hungrey I would it bc if you do wait then you'll feel even worse trust me I had a cold last week and I didn't want to eat until I was hungrey and I almost passed out! so I'd do yourself a favourit and eat:D

hope I helped &&& ps EAT!

You need to eat. Eat something healthy though that will help your cold. McDonald's won't help your cold at all. Now a turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread with tomato and lettuce healthy and the vitamins will help you get better sooner. So will eating an orange.

you should probably eat something, but dont go to McyD's that stuffs nasty when eaten too much...try fixing yourself a can of soup or some hot tea for your cold, maybe some toast with jam or somethingg

Aww, eat somethin small I know u may not want to but you need too! After 4 to 5 hours of no eating ur body goes into an anorexic state an starts feeding off the fat that's stored in your body,

Just wait i didnt eat for a week when i had a virus so it is fine just w8 till ur hungry ... xx

Eat when you're hungry. I haven't eaten for 15 hours.
