Child vomits after eating sugary foods?!

Question: Child vomits after eating sugary foods?
About a week ago, my little brother experienced stomach pains and ended up throwing up about two or three times. Then, just yesterday, he threw up again. We noticed that he wouldn't only throw up after eating sugary foods like chocolate or candy. But he does fine when he eats wheat food or solid products. He also experiences a lot of gas which sometimes causes the vomiting. We haven't checked with the doctor yet (thanks to zero health insurance) so we're not exactly sure what it could be. We're sure it's not diabetes because he's not showing any symptoms of it but we were thinking that it might appendicitis. The only thing is that he said his pain was in the middle of his abdomen rather than to the right of it, where (if I'm correct) the appendix is located. But that's all we can think of right now.

Do you have any ideas about what this could be and if it could something serious? Thanks.

i wouldn't think diabetes. i have that, and it has no acute symptoms.
maybe an allergy.
does he vomit with table sugar? i'm guessing not.
maybe some other ingredient in the junk food.
what about milk? maybe he always eats those snacks with milk.
lactose intolerance is quite common and could account for the gas.
too bad about the doctor thing. so happens i'm not a doctor either!
see if the school nurse/doctor has any insight.
