Question: Ice cream expired 2 years?
My parents are eating ice cream that expired a year and a half ago. It's some Kroger off-brand that comes in the cardboard box, and it's kinda shriveled up and smells a teeny bit sour. It's been in their freezer the whole time....I'm just wondering what will happen. I'm guessing they'll be barfing and having diarrhea for the next few days. Lucky me.
Don't tell me to take it away from them. They're in their late 70s and have been living off expired food for years now; plus they don't listen to me. If they were going to die, they would have years ago. They are not cooperative at all when I try to help them out. I'm just a little more worried than usual, because I think dairy products are a little worse than expired hot dogs and other usual foods they eat.
They will literally buy an entire shopping cart full of something when it is on sale, and then keep it for years. They think it's an amazing money-saving secret that no one has figured out but them.
Any advice?.... Does 2-yr-old ice cream = bad sickness?

my advice is to switch the rotten food with edible food when they are not looking (that's if you love them of course). If not, then just let them eat it.
