It's not anything to be embarrassed about, it happens to everybody. Besides, brother's find anything to tease you about. When you're big enough get a bra, and it will look better, and buy shirts that fit better.

Firstly, don't get embarrassed by your brother, especially if he's younger--make fun of his cracking voice while he goes through puberty. If he's older, punch his shoulder a few times and tell him to shut it lol. Lucky for me, my older brother was cool about it, and ignored it/never said anything.

Also, I'm 14, and personally, I don't want big breasts. You may want them, and that's totally normal, most do, but I hope mine don't get bigger (which they seem to be doing). (If you want to keep yours small, it helps to be skinny).
Basically the most noticeable things that happen to girls during puberty are getting their periods and breasts.
You've probably heard, you're going to get your period if you haven't already, it comes once a month for any length between 4-7 days. It's where you blood drops, not from your vaginal hole, but somewhere down there, I'm still not sure what it's called haha. It doesn't sound that bad, but I'm sorry, it really can be. The first day to me is always the worst, if you don't take Tylenol or midol as soon as it starts, you'll get cramps which can be VERY painful--at first I thought my teacher was exaggerating, guess not. When you have a locker, always keep a couple pads or tampons in there, sometimes your friends will ask if you have one to borrow or you'll need one at school. Also, while you're at home during it, drink tea! seriously! if there's not medicine available or you don't want to take it, drink tea! it stops the cramps and i think it even lessens the flow, but im not sure. i change my pad twice a day (my flows not that heavy) once when i wake up, once before bed, though most people do it more often, but it's my preference. i heard you don't feel your period if you wear a tampon, but even im scared to try and use one. if you're brave enough to push it up the hole, make sure you change those every 4 hours, or you could get TSS which is a disease. you might be told not to go swimming without a tampon, but i know people that go swimming without one, the blood won't show up in the water, just dont stay out of the pool for too long, or it'll stain your suit. don't flush tampons down the toilet. once you know the pattern of the dates you get your period (you might want to mark them on your calendar) exercising at least 2 days before you start your next period will help prevent cramps. also, if you exercise during your period, the flow lessens. i know it will feel awkward, but once you do it for a while, you'll be fine, and the cramps will stop. stay away from greasy foods, like chips, caffeine (soda), and fast food-- those will make you bloat more and have cramps. you'll go through menopause (period stops forever) in your very late 40s or early 50s, though i know one lady who ended when she was 38, so it could be different, but that's rare.
I cant wait for mine to end, i just wish i didn't have to be old, but what can i do. If you don't have it already, cherish everyday without your period! swim, run, dance, play! good luck!

unrelated: but, your hormones will go crazy, you'll want to have sex, but please restrain! in this society, people are tough on girls, and don't show off your breasts too much either, you'll be called names, and you don't want to be hounded by perverts. it will seem flattering, but still, keep your dignity!

Smack your brother upside the head.

Ask you mom to take you bra shopping and to buy you some new shirts. Let her know what is going on with your brother, too.

As you go through the changes and life gets tough with all the hormones and stuff just remember that it will get better. You will come thru puberty and be all right.

well eventhough your brother makes fun of you other boys that u like will may attention to u more lol. and buy more fitted shirts now not little girl shirts or wear haggler shirts start wearing bras theyre your best friend. you shouldn't be scarred it's not like you're gonna die

just get new shirts or something. if your brothers younger then say " well soon im gonna tease you" or your gonna go through it too or something but if hes older then just say "why is having boobs bad?" or at least i dont have moobs
