What do you do if you strained your muscles while cleaning snow? It hurts?!

Question: What do you do if you strained your muscles while cleaning snow? It hurts?
I don't have any Bengay or hot packs.

I have a bulging disc in my lower back and two in my neck. I felt pressured bcz my landlord needed me to move my car from the driveway so she could back out. I started shoveling the snow bcz it was literally 8 feet. I stopped after 10 minutes.

Now my neck muscles hurt, they feel strained and sore. My left arm hurts really bad. What can I do?

Answers:

First off your Landlord is an *** and she should have gotten some guy to shovel the snow for you guys, you don't own the snow and further more what right does she have to put that all on you? Tell her that its her responsibility to get the snow out of there if she needs to get out! Just saying it's not your fault that it snowed you in! Further advice don't park behind her anymore, than if it snows it will have to be all on her! Anyway back to your pain, I would get in a nice hot as hot as you can stand it bath if you have epson salt pour that in there! If you have a heating blanket get under that for a few hours on and few hours off. As far as your neck alone you could put some ice one the sore parts 30 min on and 30 min off and rest, time is all you have with this kind of strains, Your arm you can do the same ice it 30 min on and 30 min off. if it starts to get so much pain you can't stand it you'll have to go to the Doctors and get some muscles relaxers and pain meds, Good Luck Feel Better!! Also tell your landlord you tried and now your are now layed up for a week, it may take that long to feel normal again!

Just wet some unused clothing and soak it on a warm water and put it on were the pain is.

Take a hot bubble bath
