Why do I always pass out when donating blood or plasma?!

Question: Why do I always pass out when donating blood or plasma?
I always eat a decent meal and drink lots of water before I go and I weigh 165lbs so it's probably not due to any weight issues. My bloodwork always comes back fine; I've never had any issues with anemia. I've atttempted donating blood three different times and plasma twice, and as soon as more than 300 mL of blood comes out, I get faint and pass out or come very close to passing out. I would still like to be able to donate blood, so I'd like to know what causes this and if there is a way to fix this issue.

Answers:

Probably better to ask a health care professional... but for me , If I pump the blood too fast I also pass out from the rapid pumping,, if your squeezing your fist or a rubber ball, go it real slow , the rapid drop in blood pressure can cause fainting,
