Is light sensitivity common?!

Question: Is light sensitivity common?
In the past year I have developed a bad light sensitivity. When I drive I have to squint and I can barely see the road when another car is facing me. When I go outside I have to squint too. I keep my room extremely dark because of this sensitivity. Is it common for people to be sensitive to light? My family thinks I'm crazy. Also, when I look at a light (for example streetlights or light bulbs) I see an aura around the light. What is wrong with me? Thanks all

Light sensitivity is common. I sneeze in the light. For the first few minutes I squint but then you should get used to the light.

You aren't crazy. I would go to an eye doctor right away. The reason is that you could have a serious eye problem. There are many eye problems that are repairable and it is important to take care of it right away to avoid blindness. There are surgeries that can completely repair eye sight.
I remember being in the first grade and saying that I saw an aura around streetlamps and other lights. I had glasses from 1st grade all the way until last year. I got a surgery that made it so I didn't need glasses. Maybe you will luck out and not have to wear glasses at all. Check out Corrective Laser Eye Surgery. Make sure that if you get this kind of surgery you go to a professional that has successfully healed many people and has a good track record.
Best of luck to you.
