So did I. But I realised it always went away when I lifted the receiver off the telephone. Addition,>>>> Yes it is tinnitus all right and it certainly is no laughing matter. There is a tinnitus society from which you can gain valuable information on how to combat this most distressing condition. The good news is that if you avoid places of excessive noise the ailment will lessen to within bearable levels if not disappear altogether. The self healing capabilities of the body really are quite phenomenal. If however, the condition persists there is a new but readily available cure whereby a 'white noise 'is transmitted and tuned professionally to at a pitch which annuls the noise within your ears.

You are hearing ringing in your ears, then you have tinnitus. Probably because you were clubbing and was exposed to loud noise that causes your tinnitus. Make sure to avoid and eliminate the factors that trigger the reoccurrence of the problem. Temporary tinnitus usually goes away relatively quickly, if the ringing in your ear is persistent, you may consider seeing your doctor.
