Question: Why have i been peeing alot lately?
I go to the doctors in a few weeks. And I'm just wondering what I should look to?
I'm a girl, 17.
I know diabetes is an option. There is a history of it in my family and
my little brother has type two. I have been tested for it and don't have
it. I eat healthy and exercise. I'm 5'6 and 115 pounds if that helps.
I am on medication. my dermatologist recently put my on doxycycline hyclate
i don't know if this could be a side effect? (I am also known
to be allergic to almost every medicine I take so i have to watch out)
Only side effect i do know of is that if i drink milk with it It could make me nauseous
saying that I do drink ALOT of milk.

Diabetes could still be an option. How long ago were you tested because if it was a long time ago it might not have shown up then. Diabetes is the first thing that comes to mind when you say you're going pee a lot. You could check your glucose levels with your brother's meter or something to see if your levels are off. It could also have something to do with your kidneys. I can't give a diagnosis over the internet, but getting it checked ASAP is a good idea
I'm a type one diabetic.
Ask your doctor tochecj your serum electrolytes- diabetes insipidus is an option- Which is different from diabetes mellitus- doxy can cause that.
