Depending on the person's tendency for nosebleeds, anything that raises blood pressure can cause a nosebleed.
However, consider that there are a number of things that could have caused this. If the air was dry (low humidity as is often the case in winter weather), then this could have been the cause. Also the dancing (exercise) could have brought up the blood pressure. She may have bumped her own nose while dancing and not noticed it, any number of things.
But as I said, if your friend was prone to nosebleeds, then yes the increase of blood pressure could have triggered it.
Nosebleeds can be completely random, and are often a result of sensitive tissue drying out. While dancing her heartrate was up, and the increased pressure probably caused the nosebleed.
heat can be linked to nosebleed to occur. heat increases blood pressure thus blood had possibly escaped from the blood vessels in the head and finding its exit from the nose.
Sounds like anime. :P

But it can be possible. Anything is possible, but I've never seen what has happened to your friend before.
