Why do I feel like crap after baths/showers?!

Question: Why do I feel like crap after baths/showers?
It doesn't matter if I use hot water or cold-ish water, if I stay in for a long or short time, if it's a bath or a shower, or if I use bodywash and shampoo and conditioner or not, I always end up feeling like crap either immediately after a bath/shower or in a little bit. Like every morning, I take a shower before school. Warm-hot (but never hot hot) water, stay in for maybe 20ish minutes, use bodywash, shampoo, and conditioner. About an hour after drying off and everything, my skin feels really tight and my hands always get dry and it sucks. I've tried almost all of the Axe bodywashes and a few other brands, and none of them give much change really. After I take baths (not very common), which I don't use any bodywash or anything in, I just feel like general ****, mentally and physically, and my hair is all ultra-frizzy and fluffy. I feel pretty good right after the morning shower, though. So yeah can anyone explain why this is? Is it possible that my skin feels tight and shitty because of hard water?

Thanks!!!!! :3

It's most likely due to bad water quality and all the chemical additives used in the water. I'm the same way. The only way to deal with this, I've heard, is to put in a good water filtration system.

my face usually feels tight after a shower/bath...I don't think it's anything to do with the products you use in the shower, but I would just try moisturizing as soon as you get out of the water...It worked for me (:

good luck

if ur a morning person it might be why its different in the morning. maybe bc ur body relaxes a little too much, and its normal for skin to feel kinda tight w hot water, it drys it out.

when you take bath, warm or cold, long or short, your skin natural moisturizers are washed by the soap you use, whether it is a moisturizer soap or not. unmoisturized skin will really make you feel cracky. lotions and moisturizer creams can health you a lot restore a healthy skin. the weather can also be a factor that can affect your skin's moisture. most of all, your diet is the top contributor of dry skin. you might be lack of protein, vit C and E. also take alot more of fruit juices or even plain water, at least 10 glasses evryday. of course vegetables also are great for you to have healthy skin.
