If you are eating diet foods, drinking diet drinks, or drinking energy drinks, eating lots of carbs and sugar, you will get this problem. A short explanation is that eating and drinking these things and especially if you are eating low fat foods, you are stressing your adrenal glands to produce lots of cortisol and getting insulin, glucagon spikes that are using up the pregnenalone precursor hormone that makes all your steroid hormones. The steroid hormones include testosterone. Pregnenalone is made from cholesterol, as are all your steroid hormones.
Eat less carbs, sugars, diet foods, energy drinks, and eat more good fats, like coconut oil. Over 53% of All Americans are chronically ill now, 10% are diabetic, and 80% overweight, and 30% OBESE. Learn about good nutrition and get educated. Throw out the indoctrination that is creating your problem. Marketing people are very good at what they do.

You say you get get one during the day but when its time for sex you have a problem.

I am not a night time person.

Now in the morning, after a good nights sleep, its time for humpin' and bumbin'.
You just may be a daytime type.
And most men are that way.
