Question: How bad do lip piercings hurt?
I've had 5 holes in my ears, 1 in my cartilage and the other 4 in my earlobes. they didn't hurt very much, only a little pinch but i really want my lip pierced. does it feel like an ear piercing? i have a pretty high pain tolerance but I'm still not sure how much it will hurt. help?

self mutilation is neither cool or sexy
My sister had it done - she said it hurt really bad when she got it done - and then even worse when she realized people were pointing and laughing at her. Of course that was just her experience.
I have it done and let me tell you that it not as painful as the cartilage.
